What is Kids Week?

Kids Week is a four night immersive experience for families with children age 4 to 10. Your kids will sing, dance, and learn about Jesus in an extremely fun and engaging environment.

What is the theme this year?

Scuba

We will take kids deep into an amazing undersea adventure where they’ll experience the ever-flowing, never-ending love of God. At Scuba, kids will be immersed in the Word and discover what living water is really all about!

Participant Ages

Preschoolers must be 4 by June 1, 2024 through elementary aged kids who finished 5th grade in May of 2024

Cost

May 1st - June 7th: FREE

After the June 7th Deadline: $15 per child*

*In order to plan according for all participants, we are asking for early sign ups for kids! Registrations after June 7th will include a $15/ per child in order to expedite shipping of resources.

WHat you need to know ...and other FAQs

Enter through the main auditorium doors and you will drop off your child with their crew leader in the main auditorium after checking in with our team in the main lobby. Your child will be picked up at the same location you dropped them off at 9:00pm
No. We will only provide childcare for this age group for parents who are volunteering.
Clothes they can have fun in (tennis shoes, active clothes, etc.)! We will be playing games with running, jumping, and tons of fun. Though we love dresses, heels, accessories, and flip flops, this is not the time or place.

An awesome attitude! We encourage you to leave all personal belongings at home because they won’t need them! Water will be provided as needed. We both know kids seem to misplace lots of things, so let’s keep that minimal. Mountain City Church will not be responsible for any lost items.

Yes, we will provide a light snack. There is an allergy portion on the registration if your child has allergies. If there are severe allergies involved, you may send your child with their own snack.
Yes! We hope the inclusive title of “Kids Week” will reach more of the Anchorage community!
They will begin with fun and engaging worship songs in the auditorium! Then, enter a rotation of three different stations: Deep Sea Bible Adventures, Imagination Station (interactive science experiments), and Reef Rec Games. After this, they will return to the auditorium for a Fin-tastic Finale! They will be with their awesome crew leader the entire time. We are excited to share the love of Christ with your child through these three stations!
Each crew will be led by leaders who have been background-checked and trained. They all love God and want to help kids learn to do the same. Additionally, staff from our security team will be present each night.
All adults who remain on the premises will be background checked for the safety of your children. With that said, if you would like to stay, we would love that you volunteer in some capacity. If you choose not to volunteer, you can drop off your child then come back at 9:00pm!

Yes. Though we would love for all kids to get to come all the days, we understand that life (and vacation) happens!

Yes! However, in order for us to get all the fun materials for you child to participate in Kids Week, it will incur a $15 charge for expedited shipping.
Yes. There is an option for this in the registration form. One of our team members will contact you after registering and checking “yes.”
One of our bus team members will connect with you and let you know what time their route comes by your house.
No. Elementary and Middle School will be in two separate areas on our campus. Four-year-olds through 5th graders will check in at the Main Auditorium Lobby and entrance. Middle school will check in at the Student Union, located around the back of the church building.
