Facilities Worker

Position Description

Experience required. This is a full-time position 40 hours a week. Pay is negotiable depending on experience. If you have any experience in maintenance or construction, you are encouraged to apply.

As a Facilities Maintenance Worker, you will be a vital team member responsible for the upkeep and repair of our facilities. Utilizing core skills in mechanical knowledge, and facilities maintenance, you will ensure the smooth operation of our buildings and equipment. With relevant skills, you will contribute to creating a safe and functional environment for our organization. Requirements

  • Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Must be able to work standing or walking for several hours per day.
  • Must have the ability to learn new skills including equipment and equipment parts catalogs.
  • Must have the ability to remain calm under routine conditions and troubleshooting problems.
  • Need to have a great attitude and willing to do what needs to be done in a timely manner.

Intern Director of Groups

Position Description

The Intern Director of Groups is responsible for directing and coordinating efforts to ensure all people at MTN City have the opportunity to engage in Groups and are cared for while part of MTN City. This includes recruiting, developing and equipping people to lead in a variety of levels and roles within their purpose and giftings in the Groups structure as well as recruiting, equipping and developing new and competent leaders. Specific opportunities include Group HUB coordinator, coaches and leaders and the variety of on-boarding, training and on-going equipping, along with HUB event planning and support.

Intern Director of
Pastoral Care

Position Description

The Intern Director of Pastoral Care is responsible for directing and coordinating efforts to ensure all people at MTN City are cared for while part of MTN City. This includes recruiting, developing and equipping people to lead in a variety of levels and roles within their purpose and giftings in the groups and care structure as well as recruiting, equipping and developing new and competent leaders. Responsible to lead the staff pastoral care team.

Intern Director of
Outreach

Position Description

The Intern Director of Outreach is responsible for providing leadership, coordination, support, and equipping for the churches outreach campaigns and ministries. The Outreach Intern ensures that MTN City is effective in reaching every Alaskan with the gospel as well as being Salt & Light in the community. This includes working with the Gospel Project Alaska campaign and Community and Leadership Impact. In addition, they assist in coordinating other Church wide events and initiatives to impact and serve the community.

Director of Kids Ministry

Position Description

The Director of Kids Ministry is responsible for all aspects of ensuring the spiritual growth and development of children ages birth through 5th grade. This includes curriculum selection, volunteer recruitment and development, classroom management, and operational management necessary to ensure successful and constantly improving weekend children’s services/ministries, mid-week ministries, and periodic special events.

Requirements

  • Function as a member of the church’s pastoral staff in performing occasional weddings, funerals, and other pastoral duties as assigned or needed.

  • Being a tithing member in good standing at MTN City Church.
