The Transformative Power of Giving: Reflecting on 2024 and Stepping Boldly into 2025
As we approach the close of 2024, it’s incredible to reflect on what God has done in and through our church. Each of us has been invited to take part in a story that is bigger than ourselves—a story of transformation, generosity, and Kingdom impact.
This year, we launched the Giving to Give Campaign, aiming to achieve 100% participation. Not because God needs our money, but because He desires our hearts. While the financial goal of $250,000 was ambitious, the real focus has always been on the collective act of generosity—our willingness to say, “God, I’m part of Your story.”
Why Giving Matters
In Matthew 6:21, Jesus says, “Where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.” Giving isn’t just about meeting financial needs; it’s about aligning our hearts with God’s purpose.
Here’s the remarkable truth: 100% of the funds raised in the campaign are given away. These gifts support ministries around the world and within our community, extending the reach of the Gospel. From equipping missionaries in Cambodia to serving local families through Redemption Ministries, your generosity has been the lifeline for Kingdom work.
But the impact isn’t limited to finances. Each dollar represents trust, faith, and obedience. It’s a step of faith, saying, “God, I trust You to use this small act for Your glory.”
The Joy of Generosity
During this campaign, we’ve seen stories of transformation unfold. People have shared how stepping out in faith—even with just a dollar—has brought unexpected blessings into their lives. One participant noted how God used their gift to provide not just financially, but spiritually, aligning their heart closer to His.
Generosity is contagious, and it transforms not only the giver but also those who are touched by the gift. When we release what we hold tightly, God fills our hands with something greater—His presence, peace, and purpose.
Celebrating 2024’s Impact
This year has been a testament to the power of collective faith and action. Consider the stories of lives changed:
- Over 2,300 people heard the Gospel shared personally, with many taking next steps in faith.
- 53 incarcerated men made professions of faith through our prison ministry, and 27 were baptized, symbolizing new life in Christ.
- 400 volunteers mobilized to serve in community outreach events, showing the love of Jesus in tangible ways.
- A youth conference led to 64 young people giving their lives to Christ, while others laid down burdens and embraced freedom in Jesus.
Looking Ahead to 2025
As we prepare for the year ahead, the challenge is clear: How can we build on this momentum? How can each of us step further into the mission of being Christ-centered world changers?

- Get Involved – Volunteer for a ministry, join a group, or take part in an outreach event. Every small act adds to the greater mission.
- Commit to Prayer – Use tools like our oikos maps to pray intentionally for friends, family, and neighbors who don’t yet know Jesus.
- Be Generous – Whether it’s through giving financially or sharing your time and talents, let generosity define your year.
- Invite Others – A simple invitation to church or an event could be the first step in someone’s journey toward Jesus.
